Open Mornings

A very warm welcome to parents and carers and thank you for visiting our website.

We are holding two Open Mornings this year:

Thursday 14th October 2021

And

Thursday 18th November 2021

We will be giving guided tours of the school every 30 minutes from 9.15 to 10.45am.

Time slots for tours:
9.15 - 9.45am                 9.45 - 10.15am

10.15 - 10.45am             11.00 - 11.30am

If you wish to book a tour, please phone the school office: 01844 346189 stating your preferred date and time slot.

Due to continued Covid restrictions, there will be a maximum of 4 adults on each tour (small children may accompany an adult) and face coverings need to be worn. The tour will take you around the school where you can see our wonderful children in action. Unfortunately you will not be able to enter classrooms where children are working. You will visit our wonderful outside play area and complete the tour in the hall where Mrs Lodge, our headteacher will be around for you to talk to and answer any questions you may have. There will also be the opportunity to visit St Nicholas’ Church and our outdoor classroom at Smokey Row. Staff and governors will be also be around for you to talk to.

We look forward to meeting you.

The information and links below will give you an insight into what life is like at Great Kimble C of E School. Our pupils have helped us put this information together and we hope you find it informative.

Our school welcomes children from a number of surrounding villages and further afield. We are now established as a growing combined primary school. Currently, we have a mixed class in Key Stage 1 and at full capacity, we will have mixed classes through Key Stage 2 allowing our children to stay at Great Kimble C of E School until the end of their primary education.

Our pupil admission number for Reception is 15 to enable classes to mix as the children move up the school. Our small Reception class allows time for the children to settle in and become confident with the school routine.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
