Uniform Information

At Kimble we believe that school uniform contributes to a positive and nurturing learning environment. They foster a sense of belonging, promote equality, enhance focus and discipline.

We take pride in our school and expect the children to look smart and to wear the correct uniform. We thank parents for ensuring that children come to school properly equipped and attired.

Please see below our uniform expectations:

Winter (Sept - April)

Badged crew-necked sweatshirt or cardigan
Badged white polo shirt
Grey trousers, long shorts, skirt or pinafore
Long grey or white socks or tights

Summer (April -July)

Badged crew-necked sweatshirt or cardigan
Badged white polo shirt
Green Legionnaires hat or plain summer hat
Grey trousers or shorts with grey socks
Grey skirt or pinafore with white socks
Bottle green and white checked summer dress/playsuit with white socks

PE and Games Kit

(The children will wear their PE kits to school on their PE days)

Badged PE bag (optional)
Badged bottle green PE T-shirt
Bottle green hooded sweatshirt with school logo on
Black shorts and Black Jogging Bottoms
A pair of plain trainers (ideally white or black)
No plimsolls required

Other Essential Items and School Non Negotiables

Great Kimble Book bag (Reception children get one given to them when they start school)
Badged rucksack (optional)
Smart plain black school shoes (No boots, heels or flashing lights)
Named Water bottle in school at all times
Pair of wellies in a named bag
Badged waterproof jacket (optional)
Plain green or black hair bands, clips or headbands
No Jewellery to be worn in school other than studs or religious wear
No nail varnish allowed
Long hair must be tied back with plain green or black hair clips or bands.

Please can we ask you to ensure all items of school uniform are be labelled.

Please also note that unbadged items are acceptable if families are unable to purchase the badged items.

We have a limited supply of second hand badged items available. Please contact the school office or FOKS if you require an item and we will see if it is in our supply.
