Good Morning Year 3!
I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a marvellous Monday!
It is Father’s Day this coming Sunday, so I thought you might like to write a poem for your dad and make a card. However, you could also write a poem and create a card for anyone you want to celebrate.
Remember to take at least 10 minutes to plan what you want to write. Please use the task learning document to help guide you. To maximise your learning power, please go through your writing when you have finished to check for improvements. There are three choices of celebration card, or you could decide to make one of your own design. I’m sure whoever receives them will be very happy that you’ve been thinking of them.
There are new spellings for you to learn and practice this week. Remember, to try to write these out at least once a day. A little and often practice will make the learning pathways in your brain remember them for longer.
And, we also have Day 8 of the Maths Problems of the Day. Please talk these puzzles through with your household and enjoy the extra brain exercise!
I hope you have a marvellous Monday. Please do email in your news and learning. I really do love to hear from you.
