I can compose lines of poetry with a specific amount of syllables.

I can use rhyming words and repeated patterns in a stanza.

 

Good morning! I loved reading your short adventure stories yesterday. Today you are going to try a short poem in the style of Joshua Seigal's 'I have...' poem. You're going to explore the amount of syllables Joshua Seigal used in each line and use the same pattern in your stanzas.

 

HOT

Write a single stanza poem about anything you wish. It could be a pet, a friend, a favourite place.

The first three lines of your stanza must rhyme.

EXTRA HOT
