WALT: Plan my poem in more detail

Steps to Success:

  • I can think carefully about what I want my poem to look and sound like.
  • I can use a repeating line at the beginning of each stanza.
  • I can create a bank of rhyming words.
  • I can organise my thoughts and ideas.

Today, you're going to plan your poem in even more detail. I promise you, this planning process is worth it! It will really help when you write your first draft.

Go through the PowerPoint below and try to use the margin planner template. If you can't print it off, then please draw your own. There is a sensory word bank for you to use too, if you need it.
