Welcome to Great Kimble Church of England School
Great Kimble is an Outstanding, small, rural village school, currently catering for children aged 4 to 7 years. We are pleased that you are paying us a visit so we can share with you some of the things that make our school a very special place to be. We believe that our friendly and caring school will offer your child the ideal start to school life.
Great Kimble Church of England School provides an outstanding quality of education for its pupils.
Our mission is to provide a caring, Christian community where all children are educated to become confident, happy, successful, independent learners. We believe that effort and attitude towards learning are key indicators for progress and help our children to develop a growth mindset.
Every child who joins our school becomes part of the Great Kimble family. As part of that family we teach the children the importance of respecting one another through listening carefully, being polite, appreciating differences and considering carefully what they say and do.
We place a very high emphasis on providing equality of opportunity and personalised learning. This ensures that all our pupils have the opportunity to make outstanding progress.
In January 2018, Great Kimble CofE School became an academy and part of the Great Learners Trust. You can find details of the Great Learners Trust by following the link Our Trust. We are proud of this collaboration and the commitment that all schools in the Trust hold to providing the best possible educational experiences for all our children. Great Kimble CofE School is due to expand to KS2 by 2019, with a building project supported by Bucks County Council.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find the information you are looking for. Our website helps to maintain good links with parents, children and our local community but our pupils are the best ambassadors for our school! You are very welcome to come and look around the school to see for yourself the happy environment our children and staff feel privileged to work in.
