School Day

School Drop Off

Our school gates are open between 8:30am and 8:45am. Pedestrian access is via the green gates to the rear playground. Cars can use the drop off facility in the car park. The drop off should be entered from the Bridge Street end and exited from the Church Lane end. This will be fully staffed and is available between 8.30am and 8.45am to ensure your children have safe access to the school via the car park gate. 

ALL pupils should arrive between 8:30am and 8:45am. Registration is at 8.45am.

Lunchtime

Lunches are staggered and take place in the dining hall.  Packed Lunches are available for all pupils in Reception to Year 6.  

Collective Worship

Worship takes place daily and is usually in the hall. Once a month we join the local community for worship at St Nicholas' Church. This is lead by the children and parents of the class who are leading the worship will be invited to attend.  Worship is a chance for the whole school to reflect and focus on the following: school values, vision, rules and expectations; topical events happening in the world today including festivals; singing and celebration.  

School Pick Up

Our school gates are open between 3:15pm and 3:25pm. Year 5 and 6 pupils may walk home alone if parental permission has been given.

After School Clubs
We run a number of after school clubs for pupils each term which include a wide variety of sporting, craft, language and other clubs.  They usually run from 3:20pm to 4:15pm and some after school clubs are subject to a small charge.  

Total Time

The school week equates to 32.5 hours/week. Our compulsory school times are 8:45am to 3:15pm.
